Set to open on the historic shores of Hoan Kiem Lake, Four Seasons Hanoi will be the capital’s most coveted address. Housed in a beautifully restored French-colonial building, the hotel will offer 187 spacious rooms and suites, world-class dining, and a serene spa – all within walking distance of Hanoi’s most treasured landmarks.

Four Seasons Hanoi will occupy a prime position overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake, the legendary “Lake of the Returned Sword.” The hotel’s architecture pays homage to Hanoi’s French-colonial heritage, with high ceilings, arched windows, and a palette of cream and gold. The interiors, designed by award-winning architect Pierre-Yves Rochon, will combine Vietnamese craftsmanship with contemporary elegance – silk panels, mother-of-pearl inlays, and hand-woven textiles.
The hotel’s 187 guest rooms and suites will offer floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the lake or the city skyline. The Presidential Suite will be a masterpiece of understated luxury, featuring a private terrace, a grand piano, and a marble bathroom with a soaking tub overlooking the water. Every room will include dedicated butler service, ensuring that every need is anticipated.

Four Seasons Hanoi will be home to three exceptional dining venues. The hotel’s signature restaurant, “Lake View,” will serve contemporary Vietnamese cuisine with a focus on seasonal ingredients from the Red River Delta. The tasting menu, “Hanoi Memories,” will be a culinary journey through the city’s history – from street food classics to imperial court dishes. The restaurant’s terrace will offer unparalleled views of Hoan Kiem Lake, especially at sunset.
“The Lounge” will be a sophisticated space for afternoon tea, with live piano music and a selection of French pastries. The “Rooftop Bar” will offer craft cocktails, panoramic city views, and a menu of small plates inspired by Southeast Asian street food. The hotel will also offer private dining experiences – in the wine cellar, on the lake-view terrace, or at a private chef’s table.
Once open, Four Seasons Hanoi will offer an unrivaled combination of location, service, and heritage. The hotel’s concierge team will be able to arrange private after-hours access to the Temple of Literature, a cyclo tour of the Old Quarter, or a helicopter flight over Ha Long Bay. The hotel’s spa, “The Spa at Four Seasons,” will be a sanctuary of wellness, offering treatments inspired by Vietnamese healing traditions. It will be the only hotel in Hanoi that feels both deeply connected to the city’s past and perfectly attuned to modern luxury.

The Spa at Four Seasons Hanoi will be a serene retreat on the hotel’s second floor, overlooking the lake. Treatments will draw on Vietnamese healing traditions, using local ingredients such as lotus, ginger, and rice wine. The signature treatment, “The Hanoi Ritual,” will be a 2.5-hour journey that includes a body scrub, a warm oil massage, and a rejuvenating facial. The spa will also feature a steam room, sauna, and relaxation lounge with panoramic lake views.

Four Seasons Hanoi will be ideally located for exploring the capital’s highlights. Within walking distance are Hoan Kiem Lake, the Ngoc Son Temple, the Hanoi Opera House, and the bustling Old Quarter. The hotel’s concierge will be able to arrange private tours to the Temple of Literature, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Museum of Ethnology, and the Bat Trang ceramic village. For longer excursions, the hotel can arrange day trips to Ha Long Bay, Ninh Binh, or the Perfume Pagoda.
Though not yet open, Four Seasons Hanoi is already generating significant buzz. It is expected to become one of the best hotels in the world upon opening, joining the ranks of other Four Seasons properties recognized by Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, and Forbes Travel Guide. The hotel’s restaurant, “Lake View,” is widely expected to earn Michelin recognition.
We are now accepting expressions of interest for the opening of Four Seasons Hanoi. Let us arrange your future stay – whether you desire a romantic lakeside suite, a culinary journey, or a private tour of Hanoi’s hidden gems. Combine your stay with a cruise on Ha Long Bay or a visit to the terraced rice fields of Sapa.
