Indochine Premium · Ha Long Bay Luxury Cruise · 5‑Star Art Deco on Emerald Waters
INDOCHINE CHIC · HA LONG BAY

Art Deco Afloat

Indochine Premium — Vietnam’s most awarded luxury cruise, where 1930s elegance meets the limestone dragons
Indochine Premium — a floating art deco palace, honored as “Best Luxury Cruise Line in Vietnam” and “Luxury Art Cruises” 2025.

I have sailed Ha Long Bay a dozen times. But stepping aboard Indochine Premium felt different — like entering a 1930s French colonial salon that had somehow drifted onto emerald waters. The grand piano in the lounge, the handcrafted lacquer panels, the 1,450m² sundeck with nothing but karsts around you. This is not a cruise. It is a love letter to Indochine style.

The Grande Dame of the Bay

OVER 30 YEARS HERITAGE FLEET

37 cabins, 68 crew, one legend

Indochine Premium is the flagship of the Indochina Sails family — a brand trusted by over a million travelers. At 80.6 meters long, she carries just 110 guests, ensuring a feeling of private luxury. Every crew member has 20-30 years of experience navigating these waters. The result? Impeccable service, award-winning cuisine, and an itinerary that avoids the crowded shipping lanes. You are here for the bay, not the herd.

Day One · Boarding the Art Deco Jewel

TUAN CHAU PORT 11:45 AM

Champagne, orchids & a personal butler

Check-in at the Indochine Premium Lounge is seamless. A porter takes your luggage; a hostess offers a flute of sparkling wine. You are escorted to your suite — each with a private balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows. Lunch is served in the fine-dining restaurant: lobster bisque, Hoi An-style cao lầu, and a passionfruit soufflé. Afternoon excursion: Sung Sot Cave (Surprise Cave), the largest and most magnificent grotto in the bay. The 150 steps are rewarded by a cathedral of stalactites. Back on board, the piano lounge beckons for sunset cocktails.

Evening · Gala Dinner & Night Magic

PIANO LOUNGE 7:00 PM

A six-course symphony

Dinner is an event. The chef presents a modern Vietnamese-French tasting menu: seared scallops with tamarind glaze, phở‑infused consommé, wagyu beef with black garlic, and a delicate lotus seed crème brûlée. Live piano music drifts through the dining room. After dinner, try night squid fishing from the aft deck, or enjoy a cognac in the cigar lounge. The outdoor Jacuzzi is open until midnight — imagine soaking under a canopy of stars, karsts silhouetted against the moon.

Day Two · Titov Island & Champagne Brunch

SUNRISE TAI CHI TITOV ISLAND

435 steps to the postcard view

At 6:15 AM, join the tai chi session on the upper sundeck as mist rises from the bay. After a light breakfast, take the tender to Titov Island. Climb 435 steps (or stay at the beach). The summit offers the most photographed panorama in Vietnam — a turquoise curve dotted with junks. Return to the ship, check out of your cabin, and enjoy a lavish champagne brunch: phở with rare beef, smoked salmon blinis, dragon fruit, and a free-flowing mimosa. Disembark at 11:00 AM, with memories that will linger for a lifetime.

Extended Journey · 3 Days / 2 Nights — Hidden Corners of Ha Long

PEARL FARM & TRINH NU CAVE DAY TWO EXCLUSIVE

Where day boats never go

With three days, you wake to a second sunrise in the bay. After breakfast, a smaller day boat takes you to Trinh Nu Cave for kayaking through a hidden lagoon, then to a floating pearl farm to see how Ha Long’s famous gems are cultivated. Lunch on board, then swim at Ba Trái Đào (Three Peaches Beach) — a trio of tiny beaches accessible only by small craft. Return to the mother ship for a cooking demonstration and a second night of serenity. Starting from $349 per person.

Signature package: Indochine Premium & Legacy Yen Tu — Combine 2 nights on the bay with 1 night at the MGallery Legacy Yen Tu, a mountain retreat in a sacred Buddhist land. From $777 per cabin. Ask our travel specialists.

“All the staff are lovely. The food is exquisite, all luxury. Super clean rooms with terrace. We honeymooned and had a detail in the room — super nice. 100% recommended.”

“We did a 3D/2N cruise — absolutely worth it. The second day we set off on a smaller vessel, activities less crowded. Staff like Nam made us feel welcome, adjusting the menu to our needs.”
