A Quarter Century of Authentic Leadership

1997 – The Beginning

Andy started as an English-speaking tour guide in 1997. His natural storytelling and deep understanding of Vietnamese history quickly earned him a reputation as one of the most authentic voices in the country.

2021 – Breaking Barriers at Intrepid

Andy became the first Vietnamese English Tour Leader for Intrepid Travel, a landmark moment that convinced Intrepid to confidently hire Vietnamese guides as tour leaders across Indochina.

Buffalo Tours Vietnam

As South Vietnam Operator Manager at Buffalo Tours Vietnam, Andy led operations, quality control, and guide training across southern Vietnam.

Founder: Asiana Travel Mate (2006) & Asia Travel Mates (2022)

In 2006 he founded Asiana Travel Mate, then in 2022 refounded his vision as Asia Travel Mates in Ho Chi Minh City.

Recently, Andy has been leading daily adventures to the Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Duoc sector) and Mekong Delta more often than ever. He believes the best office is the trail — revealing hidden trapdoors, tasting tapioca, and bringing wartime history to life with unmatched passion.
