1. Our Role

Indochine CHIC is a curated travel platform and review service. We connect travelers with verified local tour operators across Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. We are not a tour operator ourselves, nor do we package or directly sell travel services. Our role is to inform, recommend, and facilitate connections with trusted third-party providers.

2. Verification & Recommendations

Our team of travel management professionals (operating since 1997) personally vets each recommended operator. We verify licenses, financial protections, and emergency protocols. However, travel conditions, operator availability, and local circumstances can change. While we strive for accuracy, we recommend that travelers independently confirm details prior to booking.

3. Commissions & Finder’s Fee

Indochine CHIC earns a modest finder’s fee when you book through our verified partner links. This fee is paid by our partner operators—never by you. The commission does not affect the price you pay; in many cases, we negotiate rates that are equal to or better than those available elsewhere. This model allows us to maintain our independence and continue providing honest, curated recommendations.

4. Booking & Contracts

When you book a tour through one of our partner operators, your contract is directly with that operator. Indochine CHIC is not a party to that contract and bears no responsibility for the execution of the tour, including but not limited to accommodations, transportation, guides, or activities. We strongly advise reviewing each operator’s own terms and conditions before booking.

5. Pricing & Payments

All prices displayed on Indochine CHIC are estimates provided by our partner operators and are subject to change based on seasonality, availability, and currency fluctuations. Final pricing will be confirmed by the operator at the time of booking. Payments are made directly to the operator; we do not process payments on behalf of any third party.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies vary by operator. Each partner operator maintains its own policy, which will be provided to you at the time of booking. Indochine CHIC is not responsible for resolving disputes regarding cancellations, refunds, or changes to bookings. We encourage you to review each operator’s cancellation policy carefully and consider travel insurance.

7. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, trip interruption, cancellation, and baggage loss. Indochine CHIC does not offer insurance but can direct you to reputable providers upon request.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Indochine CHIC and its team shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website, your reliance on our recommendations, or your booking with any third-party operator. This includes but is not limited to personal injury, property damage, delays, or dissatisfaction with travel services.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Indochine CHIC website—including text, photography, logos, and design—is the property of Indochine CHIC or used with permission. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use our content without express written consent.

10. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Any personal information you share with us (such as through contact forms or newsletter sign-ups) is used solely to communicate with you and improve your experience.
