Step 1: Start from Saigon Central Post Office

Address: 02 Công xã Paris Square, Bến Nghé Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City

Landmarks nearby: Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica of Saigon (directly across the square), HCMC People’s Committee Building, Nguyễn Huệ Walking Street.

From the Post Office, take Nam Kỳ Khởi Nghĩa Street heading toward Võ Văn Kiệt Street in Bến Thành Ward.

Step 2: Join the Expressway

Turn onto Võ Văn Kiệt Street – a major elevated arterial road cutting through the city toward the western exit. You will pass Bến Thành Market (to your left) and the Sài Gòn River as you cross Khánh Hội Bridge.

Continue onto the North-South Expressway (Eastern Route), also known as the TPHCM – Trung Lương Expressway. Follow for about 60.5 km.

Important: Take the exit toward Cầu vượt C1 in Long Hưng Commune.

Landmarks along this section: Bình Chánh District, Cần Giuộc exit (rest stop), Tân An City, Cầu vượt C1 (C1 Overpass).

Step 3: Cross Rạch Miễu Bridge 2

After exiting, take Provincial Road ĐT870 leading to Rạch Miễu Bridge 2 – an impressive cable-stayed bridge in the Mekong Delta.

Landmarks before the bridge: Mỹ Tho City (Local market, coconut candy), Vĩnh Tràng Pagoda, floating fish farms.

Cross into Bến Tre Province and follow Võ Nguyên Giáp Street / National Highway 60.

Landmarks after the bridge: Bến Tre City (“land of coconuts”), coconut candy factories, Monkey Bridge (Cầu Khỉ).

Step 4: Continue on National Highway 60

Stay on National Highway 60 (QL60) heading toward Nhị Long area through Bến Tre into Vĩnh Long Province.

Landmarks along this section: Sông Tiền (Tiền River), Mekong fruit orchards (durian, rambutan, mangosteen), local roadside markets, Chợ Giồng Ông Tố, Cầu Mỹ Lợi (Mỹ Lợi Bridge), provincial border marker.

Step 5: Final Local Roads – The Last 300 Meters on Foot

Turn onto DH1 (or ĐH1) and follow signs to Trung Ngãi Village.

Important – Vehicles cannot go all the way to the resort. Park at the designated parking area and walk approximately 300 meters along a rustic village path.

The resort will send someone to help you. Call the lodge upon arrival. Staff will meet you, help carry luggage, and guide you to the riverbank.

What to pack: Backpacks or duffel bags are better than rolling suitcases. Wear comfortable walking shoes.

Landmarks on the walking path: The small cement bridge over a canal, and a bamboo gate marking the lodge entrance.
