Located within the Vinhomes Global Sportia project — a 9,171-hectare sports and entertainment city — the stadium is set to become the world’s largest stadium by capacity upon its planned completion in 2028.
The project is developed by Vingroup, Vietnam’s largest private conglomerate, with an estimated total investment of approximately 925,000 billion VND for the entire Global Sportia development. The stadium itself occupies 73.3 hectares and is designed to host major international sporting events including the Asian Games, the Olympics, and FIFA World Cup matches.
