Getting there: Mui Ne is 200km from Ho Chi Minh City (4-5 hours by sleeper bus). Also accessible by train to Phan Thiet station, then taxi (20 min). Regular buses from HCMC’s Mien Dong station.

Early Morning (Sunrise Option)
- 4:30 – Depart for White Sand Dunes (Bau Trang) by jeep
- 5:30 – Arrive, watch spectacular sunrise over dunes
- 6:00 – Explore dunes, quad bike rental (optional), sand sliding
- 7:30 – Visit Lotus Lake nearby (photo stop)
- 8:30 – Return to hotel for breakfast/rest
Late Morning & Afternoon
- 10:00 – Visit Red Sand Dunes (closer to town)
- 11:00 – Sand sliding (rent a plastic sled)
- 12:30 – Lunch at local seafood restaurant
- 14:00 – Fairy Stream (Suoi Tien) – walk barefoot through red canyon
- 16:00 – Return to hotel, relax by pool/beach
- 19:00 – Dinner at beachfront seafood grill
Pro tip: Sunrise at White Sand Dunes is magical and less crowded. Bring sunglasses and a scarf for sand/wind. Negotiate quad bike prices (300-500k VND for 20 min). At Fairy Stream, walk upstream for best scenery.
Fishing Village best visited early morning (6-7am)
Morning
- 6:30 – Early visit to Mui Ne Fishing Village
- 7:00 – Watch colorful round boats, fish market
- 8:00 – Return for breakfast
- 9:30 – Visit Poshanu Cham Towers (ancient Cham architecture)
- 11:00 – Short hike to nearby Red Canyon (optional)
Afternoon & Departure
- 12:30 – Lunch (try fresh lobster, clams, oysters)
- 14:00 – Free time: beach, pool, or spa
- 15:30 – Pack and prepare for departure
- 16:30 – Transfer to bus station or Phan Thiet train
- 17:00 – Depart Mui Ne (overnight bus to HCMC)
Pro tip: At the fishing village, you can take a basket boat ride for a small fee. The seafood is freshest in the morning – buy directly from fishermen and ask your hotel to grill it.

Best seafood street: Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street (many beachfront restaurants). Binh Thuan lobster is cheaper than elsewhere in Vietnam.
